Sales via a merchant of record

AutoVPN is not sold directly by me but through Stripe as merchant of record. When you buy, Stripe acts as reseller and legal seller: it processes the payment, issues the invoice and remits the applicable VAT. Stripe is therefore your point of contact for questions about payment, invoicing or refunds, and Stripe’s terms apply in addition.

For the software itself, support and licence administration, I am your point of contact.

VAT

I am a small business within the meaning of § 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG). I do not show VAT on my own invoices and hold no VAT identification number.

This has no bearing on your purchase: the seller is Stripe (see above). You receive your invoice from Stripe, and it shows the VAT applicable in your country. The price shown on this website is a final price and already includes that tax.

Consumer dispute resolution

I am neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

The European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025, so no reference to it is given here.

Liability for content

As a service provider I am responsible for my own content on these pages under general law, pursuant to § 7(1) DDG. Under §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, I am not obliged as a service provider to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information, or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity.

This site may contain links to external third-party websites over whose content I have no influence. Responsibility for the content of linked pages always lies with their respective provider or operator. No unlawful content was apparent at the time of linking; if I become aware of any legal infringements, I will remove the links in question without delay.
